How do you pass the time during a flight?  What do you bring in your carry-on?

The longest flight I have ever endured was my flight to Japan two summers ago. I think it was close to 14 hours or so...I don't remember for sure but it was long. It was hard to fall asleep so I read some, watched some in-flight movies, and listened to a lot of music. I also spent some time talking with the other kids that were going on the trip and eating tasty snacks :) It was a huge airplane and the ride wasn't too bad- especially on the way back home when we knew what to expect. It definitely put short flights into perspective- the ride home from Chicago seemed ridiculously quick. Man, I love flying and travel and all of that...it's just great.
